The TI-1103 was introduced in the year 1986 together with the TI-1104. Both calculators based on the simple design of the TI-1100 II.
The TI-1103 was available in two colors, blue and red. View the other one
here. The same electronics was used with the stylish TI-1104,
too. Please click on the picture at the right as a switchboard to a total of 17
different versions of the TI-1103 and TI-1104 family. Production of the TI-1103
was shifted around 1989 from Taiwan to Malaysia.
If you prefer the AOS system, view the MathMate, if you like solar cells view the TI-1105, TI-1106 and the TI-108.
Three years later TI created again a very stylish calculator, view the TI-701.
A similar technology could be found in the Creeks N' Creeks.
