Just a design variation of the TI-503SV introduced for the Back-to-School 2007 campaign and sold by the Target retail chain. US competitor Wal-Mart started already in 2003 with the idea of colorful variations Texas Instruments calculators, please remember the red TI-503SV.
Screening the Target shelves in 2007 revealed a pink TI-30X
IIS, a
blue TI-83 Plus and the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition in both pink and blue.
The
internal construction of the TI-503SV manufactured in 2007 is still identical
with the original 2003 version. Please notice that changing the battery isn't
an easy task with this $4.49 calculator.
