The sales box of the TI-1255 sold around 1977 in the US.

This TI-1255 was manufactured in April 1977 by 
Texas Instruments in Lubbock, TX (Date code LTA 1777 » wk 17 yr 1977).

The TI-1255 is powered by two rechargeable NiCd batteries.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the TI-1255 makes use of the 
TMS0972 calculator chip and two rechargeable batteries.
