This LETTERlogic sold in the United Kingdom is an interesting combination:
• The design is borrowed from the German
LETTERlogic
• The keyplate and the electronic inside are borrowed from
the original Mr. Challenger
The
printed circuit boards (PCBs) of the three versions are almost identical and share the
TMC0273 microcontroller and a TMC0355
Voice Synthesis Memory (VSM), known as "128kBit Speech-ROM" of the Speak & Spell
family. The different languages of the three games are coded in these ROMs:
• CD2601: Mr. Challenger, LETTERlogic (UK) • CD2603: LETTERlogic (France) • CD2604: LETTERlogic (Germany) |
