sold around 1983 in the US.

This SS-3006 FINANCE SSSC for the CC-40 was manufactured in May 1983 by
Texas Instruments in Abilene, TX (Date code ATA 2183 » wk 21 yr 1983).
The printed circuit board (PCB) of the SS-3006 FINANCE SSSC
with one 28-pin Dual-Inline Memory.
The SS-3006 FINANCE SSSC uses one HN61256P Read Only Memory (ROM)
with 32k Bytes capacity and TI Part# 1500387-1100.
