manufactured in April 1996 by Inventec Corporation in Taiwan (Date code I-0496A » mth 04 yr 1996). |
The TI-83 is powered by
4 AAA batteries and a CR1620 backup battery. |
The printed circuit board (PCB) of the TI-83 looks very similar to the earlier TI-82. |
The main
components of the first TI-83: Toshiba T84C00A CPU,
Toshiba TC14L010 ASIC, Atmel AT27C020 OTP ROM and Epson SRM2A256 RAM. |
