This TI-83 Plus with the date code S-0402C was manufactured by Inventec in China in April 2002.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the TI-83 Plus manufactured in 2002 is completely different to the
earlier versions. Both the Z-80 microprocessor and the RAM are integrated into an ASIC.

The PCB of this TI-83 Plus manufactured in Spring 2002 utilizes two buffers between the ASIC and Flash-ROM.
The Flash-ROM Macronix 29LV400 stores up to 512k Byte Program.

This TI-83 Plus uses an ASIC 6SI837 developed by Inventec in a standard flatpack housing. 

The display driver Toshiba T6A04A of the TI-83 Plus manufactured in 2002.
