The sales box of the PocketMate 400 Personal Organizer sold around 1997 in the US.

This PocketMate 400 Personal Organizer was manufactured in October 1997 by 
Compal Electronics in Thailand (Date code C-1097).

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the PocketMate 400 is centered
around the Toshiba T6M88 Application Specific CPU.

The Toshiba T6M88 Application Specific CPU
with its Z80 compatible core.

The PocketMate 400 makes use of two Memory
chips with 128k Bytes capacity, each. 

The Program memory of the PocketMate 400
with 64k Bytes capacity.

The additional PCB found inside the PocketMate 400 with the display electronics,
the LC-display and the keyboard assembly for the numerical keys.

The two display drivers of  the PocketMate 400 in Chip-on-Board (COB) technology.
