This PS-3000 Pocket Speller was manufactured in 1990 in Taiwan.

The standard hardware of the PS-3000 makes use of a 8-bit microprocessor based
on the Z80 family, a huge ROM, a small RAM and an integrated display driver. 

The Toshiba T9989 Application Specific CPU
with its Z80 compatible core.

The Program/Word memory of the PS-3000
with 128k Bytes capacity.

 

The PS-3000 makes use of one Data memory
chip with 2k Bytes capacity. 

The display driver of  the PS-3000 hides
its specification.
