This Canon LE-83 (Version 3) was manufactured in January 1974 by Canon in Japan.

The Canon LE-83 is powered by a four disposable 1.5 Volt batteries.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the Canon LE-83 is centered around a TMS0101
single-chip calculator circuit and supported by two display drivers hybrid circuits.
