The internal construction of the LX-40 uses a heavy sheet metal to support the connection
of the flexible PCB to both the LC-display and keyboard foil sandwich. 
Even the calculator chip manufactured by Toshiba is pressed against the board.

The internal construction of the LC-33 is identical with the LX-40. 
But now we removed even the Toshiba calculator chip from its rubber housing.
