The minirex 73 uses a US-built AMI S2144, a copy of the MOSTEK MK5020A. 

The minirex 74 uses a GDR-built U820, a copy of the Texas Instruments TMS0105.

The minirex 75 uses an original calculator chip, the TMS0105.
