The sales box of the Sharp PC1401 sold around 1984 in the US.

This Sharp PC-1401 Pocket Computer was manufactured in June 1984 by Sharp Corporation in Japan.

The Sharp PC-1401 Pocket Computer features an internal  expansion slot for additional memory and is powered by two CR2032 batteries.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the Sharp PC-1401 is centered around a 4-bit SC61860A microcontroller, ROM, two RAM chips and a display driver.
