The sales box of the Galaxy 40 sold around 1993 in France.

This Galaxy 9 was manufactured in December 1993 by 
Texas Instruments in Italy (Date code RCI 4993 » wk 49 yr 1993).

The internal construction of the Galaxy 40 is quite simple:
A two sided printed circuit board (PCB) for the keyboard and electronics,
a flexible connection to the LC-display and a 3V Lithium battery.

The single-chip calculator circuit of the Galaxy 40 was manufactured obviously by Toshiba in Japan.
