This TI-57 manufactured in August 1977 makes use of a BP6
Battery Pack with just to NiCd Cells inside the case.

This TI-57 manufactured in October 1977 makes use of a BP7
Battery Pack with two NiCd Cells and a step-up converter inside the case.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the orginal TI-57
consequently uses a piggy-back PCB with a step-up DC/DC converter.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the revised TI-57
omits the additional piggy-back PCB for the DC/DC step-up converter.
