This
Canon LC-39 was introduced in 1991 and seems to be the successor of the LC-37.
Dismantling the LC-39 reveals two surprises:
| The housing includes provisions for solar cells. | |
| The Sharp LI3150Z calculator circuit sports a conventional
housing, while the earlier LC-37 used already chip-on-board (COB) technology. |
