This
Canon LC-4T traces back to the Canon LC Quartz introduced in April 1978 and
featuring a clock, an alarm and a stopwatch with versatile electronic calculator
functions in a nice housing.

Dismantling
this LC-4T calculator / clock combination manufactured in September 1979 reveals
a pretty simple construction centered around a Hitachi HD43351 single-chip
calculator circuit and a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal.
