About
one year after the introduction of the original LC-83M
production was shifted to Taiwan.
Engineers
changed the internal construction totally and even the size of the display was
reduced. If you watch the printed circuit board (PCB) carefully you'll notice
the logo of a OEM calculator manufacturer doing TI products, too.
