This Canon LS-12TU is an example of a typical calculator sold on the Japanese market. Please notice the additional lettering above some keys. One of the special features of the LS-12TU are short entry keys for "000" and "0000" to perform faster entry of the huge YEN figures in Tokyo.
The
inside story of the LS-12TU is not too exciting.
Don't miss the LS-10 introduced about 20 years earlier.
