Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co., Ltd., better known as Toshiba - the official name since 1978 - introduced early in their history the Homeland brand.
This Homeland 80K is a typical Japanese calculator using a
green VF-Display (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) and solid keyboard in a rather
small package.
Dismantling
this calculator manufactured in 1976 reveals a Texas Instruments TMS0855
single-chip calculator circuit known from the Homeland
8011.
