Toshiba introduced already in 1981 this battery operated printing calculator using normal paper. If you feel familiar with the design you should compare it with the TI-5010 introduced about 1 year later.
Dismantling
the Toshiba LC1028PV proofs easily that both calculators are more or less
identical. The printed circuit board (PCB) states: TI-5010NEW / LC-1028PV.
Toshiba ? Compare this
calculator with the TI-5010 and explore some other twins between the companies.
The first battery operated printing calculator was introduced
with the LC-110PV already in 1979.
