The production of the original TI-68 - introduced 1989 - was shifted in the year 1995 to Malaysia and later to China.
You'll notice small changes in the design of
the calculator, e.g. position of the logos and size of the letters on the keys.
Digging deeper into the differences reveals some other - minor - changes:
The plastic bezel around the display looks much cheaper and the screws around the battery compartment found their way back to the calculator.
