Canon Financial Manager II traces back to the Financial Manager, the first financial calculator based on a Toshiba
single-chip calculator circuit.
Dismantling
this calculator manufactured in October 1988 reveals a printed circuit board
(PCB) with the Toshiba T6787 calculator circuit known since 1982.
