The
TI-32 SOLAR is a unique calculator with respect to both its functionality and
design. The keyboard layout looks at first glance very similiar to the
TI-32 or even the TI-31
Solar, but it added e.g. binary calculations known from the
TI-34. The design itself with the orange colored hinges
for the tiltable display was a flash in the pan! Compare it with the rare
TI-607 introduced in 1989.

Dismantling
this TI-32 SOLAR manufactured in December 1988 in Taiwan reveals neither its
manufacturer nor its calculator brain.
