The
SR-10 Version 3 uses different electronics than the predecessor SR-10
Version 2. The segment drivers were removed and
the driver of the TMS0120 calculator chip used. This was a result of red LED
displays with higher efficiency. The power supply was changed to an integrated
version. These changes were introduced shortly before the calculator was
discontinued.
Compare the SR-10 Version 3 with a SR-16
from the same timeframe.
